Graduate Program Test Requirements

Many graduate programs require that applicants to take an additional test

or have a higher than minimum English language proficiency test score

before they may be admitted to the program they have chosen.


Please refer to the following list to find whether the program you have chosen

requires a GMAT, GRE, or higher than minimum English test score.

Aerospace Engineering
Required if undergraduate degree is not from an accredited U.S./Canadian university.

OLD EXAM:

Combined Verbal & Quantitative 1100 or above

Analytical Writing 3.5 or above.

NEW EXAM:

Combined Verbal & Quantitative 312 or above

Analytical Writing 3.5 or above.

 

Biological Sciences
Required if undergraduate degree is not from an accredited U.S./Canadian university.

All applicants in the Molecular Biology and Microbiology concentration must submit

general test scores and Advanced Subject Test score in Biology or Molecular Biology.

 

Biotechnology
General test plus Advanced Subject Test in a relevant subject of your choice required.

 

Chemistry
General test required.

 

Child and Adolescent Development
General test required.

 

Communication Studies
General test required.

 

Computer Engineering
Required if undergraduate degree is not from an accredited U.S./Canadian university.

OLD EXAM:

Quantitative 650 or better

Analytical 4.0 or better

Combined 1000 or better,

NEW EXAM:

Quantitative 151 or better

Analytical 4.0 of better
