All new students must check in at the iGateways office before their program begins. The office is located in the Industrial Studies Building, Room 227, between 8th and 9th Streets on San Fernando Street on the San Jose State University Campus.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, except university holidays and certain California State University Conservation Days. (If you plan to leave the U.S. during holidays, please click here)

Checking in takes about one hour. Please make sure to bring all the required documents listed on the Admission Tracking Site. During this time, we will photocopy your documents and ask you to complete some forms, meet with an advisor, and pay for FedEx (Express Mail) or health insurance, if necessary.  This is also when we will give you your calendar for Orientation Week.
