Applying for Housing

Step 1: Where do you want to live?

  • Campus Village
  • SJSU's International House
  • Homestay

Step 2: Complete the iGateways online questionnaire. This will notify the iGateways' Housing Liaison that you are looking for housing. Feel free to ask questions.

Step 3: Complete the appropriate Housing Application:

  1. Campus Village: Please download the Housing Documents,  submit your application online then print a copy. Mail the copy to the iGateways office. Make sure you have signed the documents.

    *Be sure to read the Campus Village policies and procedures found in the Campus Village Housing License Agreement Booklet.

    Approximately 3 weeks before your arrival, Housing will send you an email with your room assignment, check-in and payment instructions. You will also receive instructions on how to purchase bed linens and kitchen supplies before arriving.

  2. SJSU's I-House: Follow the application process.

  3. Homestay: Follow the application process.

Step 4: Email the Housing Liaison to confirm your check-in date and approximate arrival time.

Step 5: To request the airport agent pick-up service, please make your request a minimum of two weeks prior to your arrival date. You will receive a confirmation letter with instructions and contact information for the agent.

Step 6: Arrival: Complete check-in and payment procedures.

Step 7: Meet your roommates and settle in!
